ISAIAH 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
JOHN 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
JOHN 12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
JOHN 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
I PETER 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
“Now, great light! "The Gentiles who sat in the regions of the shadows of death, great light sprang up among them. In Zabulon, and Nephthalim, in the... by the way of Galilee of the Gentiles, great light, they saw a great light." Now light, the first time light, we find it in the Bible, is found in Genesis 1:3. It was, God's spoken Word made the light. God said, "Let there be light," Genesis 1:3, and there was light. Now remember, then, light comes by the spoken Word of God. And light is the vindication, or the subject that He has spoke, is light. When the light flies, shows that. God said, "Let there be light." There was no light, and He said, "Let there be light," and there was light. That's a proof. The light is a vindication of His spoken Word.” [63-1229M There Is A Man Here That Can Turn On The Light, Jeffersonville IN], [Genesis 1:3], [Matthew 4:15-16]
“The Word is Light when It's vindicated. Until the Word, it promised for the day, is a vindicated, then it is not Light. It cannot be. If God said, "Let there be light," and no sun come in existence, there is no sign of light. But when God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. When God promised a Messiah, Messiah come, then His Word was fulfilled and He was the Light of the hour. When He promised Noah, and He promised the others, and on down, they was the light of the hour. And there is a Light of the hour today, that's Jesus Christ in the power of His resurrection, His Word that's promised for this day. "The works that I do, shall you also; greater than this shall you do, for I go to the Father." Greater works, greater things than He did? Do you believe it?” [64-0119 Shalom, Phoenix AZ], [John 14:12], [John 1:1-5, 9]
“Look, every man that rejects Light goes blind and walks in darkness because you don't accept Light. Amen. God sends ministers who preach the Gospel. He sends signs and wonders among men to a vindicate it to be the truth; and men reject It. There's nothing left but darkness for you. Walk in the Light while the Light's a shining, my brother. Receive the Light. Christ is the Light. He's come to bring Light to you. But those who rejected Light received darkness. And every man and woman tonight, who rejects Light, walks in darkness, not knowing where he's going. He's staggering along pretty good, popular with the people, but wonder how he stands in the Presence of God.” [54-0329 Redemption By Power, Louisville KY], [Exodus 10:21-23]
“And spiritual Life, Eternal Life, can only come by God's spoken Word of Life. Life was the S-o-n this time. In Him is Light, and in Him is no darkness; and He is God's spoken Light. Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] God's spoken Word, for, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." And It's forever God. See? And it takes the Light of God to strike the Word, to make It live. Here is what He spoke [Brother Branham pats his Bible--Ed.], now let the Light shine! Amen! Let the Light shine, and the Light will bring every Word to Its right position, in its season. Amen! Oh! You see, when it comes time! Sometimes that grain lays in the earth, dormant, all through the--the winter, like seed, winter wheat sowed in the ground. But when that sun gets just right, oh, it's got to live. See? And it can't live without the sun. And God has made promises for every age and every day. And when the Light gets right, and shines upon that, it'll produce just exactly what the Word said, because He is the Light and the Life.” [63-1229M There Is A Man Here That Can Turn On The Light, Jeffersonville IN], [John 1:1]
“We are in our journey, are something like Israel was. Israel, in their journey, had to get new manna every day, for new manna fell. We are supposed not to live in the light of Luther, live in the light of--of Wesley, or live in the light of Pentecost. We're in another age, new Manna. What happened if they tried to keep that manna over? It contaminated. It would kill them. That's the reason we got so many spiritual dead, so-called Christians. They're eating a glare of another day. They're eating manna that's already contaminated. Just like the husk upon the wheat, if it doesn't go into the wheat, it goes off of the wheat. And when Light is rejected, there isn't but one thing to do, turned into darkness. Any portion of the night, would refuse to see the Light, goes back into darkness. So does it in the Gospel, in every age it's been proven to be so. We're living in that time.” [64-0125 Turn On The Light, Phoenix AZ], [Exodus 16:11-20]
“But, now, here was Jesus as a big Light. Now, if you remember, in the beginning, Jesus was a Light. Jesus was the Logos that went out of God. And He was the... He was the Angel of the Covenant that led the children of Israel through the wilderness. And He was the Pillar of Fire that they looked at. And He was... And when He was here on earth, He said, "I came from God, and I go back to God." So if He came from a Pillar of Fire, into a Man, then if He went back to where He was, He went back to a Light again. And there He was when Paul saw Him, He was a Light. Now, all those soldiers that was with Paul did not see the Light. Then is it possible that one can see It and the others won't see It? Certainly. All right. He, Paul, saw It, but the rest of them did not see the Light.” [57-0825M Hebrews Chapter Two 1, Jeffersonville IN], [John 13:3], [Acts 9:1-5,7]
“The difference is just like it was in the beginning, when there was gross darkness upon the earth. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water and said, "Let there be light." And God separated the light from the darkness. And I believe that we are now living in that hour again, that when God is separating Light from darkness, and He's pressing it to the other side of the world, that the Light might be made manifest.” [64-0112 Shalom, Sierra Vista AZ], [Genesis 1:3]
