I JOHN 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. I JOHN 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

ACTS 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

HEBREWS 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

“Acts 1:8. "But you shall receive the Holy Ghost after this the... You shall receive power after this, the Holy Ghost has come upon you. You'll be witnesses of Me in Jerusalem, Judaea, Samaria, and Connersville, Indiana, and the uttermost parts of the earth." What? After you become a deacon? No. After you get out of the seminary? No. After you become a preacher? No. "After you have received the Holy Ghost, you shall be My witnesses with power throughout the entire world." Every God-called witness must be endued with power from on high before he can be a witness. And because He lives, we live also. He's the bona fide statement. With such a Person to come in the last days to guide the Church, it was behooving to God to tell His people that He would be here.
