“Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?”[Jeremiah 8:20]

Are they gone? Did God run out of inoculation for His Church? Did He do it? If He did, woe unto the Church. But on the day of Pentecost, while they were shouting and praising God, the question come up, "Men and brethren, what can we do to become inoculated?" And doctor Simon Peter wrote out a prescription. And he said, "This 'scription's going to be good for you, and for your children, and for every generation. As many as the Lord our God shall call can use this prescription. Repent every one of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall be inoculated. You shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, which is God's inoculation. “Is there no balm in Gilead, no physician there? Saint Peter wrote; he was a doctor, Simon Peter, he wrote out that the prescription on the day of Pentecost. You believe that? When they said, "Men and brethren, what can we do?" He wrote out the prescription for the balm. Don't try to fool with it. But people needs Thy Balm, the Balm of Gilead poured into their soul, the rich, royal holy Oil of God, called the Holy Spirit. May It saturate every soul here tonight to believe Thee. May they take the prescription that the Apostle Peter wrote out at the day of Pentecost, and bring repentance to their heart, and faith to their soul, that they might receive joy unspeakable and full of glory. They make it so weak, today, till it's nothing but a denominational water, that's right, some embalming fluid they inject into a dead man to make him deader. Oh, but, brother, there is a genuine anointing! There is a balm in Gilead. It's for the healing of the soul. Just don't fool with the prescription. Take the prescription just the way it's written, and God is obligated to His Word; not obligated to the creed, or the dogma, or the denomination. He's obligated to His Word. There is a genuine anointing! There is a balm in Gilead. It's for the healing of the soul. Just don't fool with the prescription. Take the prescription just the way it's written, and God is obligated to His Word.
