“Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” [Isaiah 6:5]
“I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.” [Job 42:5]
“Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.” [John 14:19]
“Isaiah had been educated, and--and at school with the king, and so forth. He had the best that could be give him mentally, I suppose, in his intellectuals. But God had to make a prophet out of him by revealing Himself to him, by giving him something tangible, that he could see it was no more so much in literature, and reading, and writing. But the things that he had read about God and heard about God, become manifested right before him. Then he said, "I'm of unclean lips, and dealing and dwelling among unclean people." And God prepared him for his days of prophecy. That's the way God does things. He does it in a mysterious way. The prophet Elijah, we might think of him for a moment. There he is, laying back in a cave. He'd seen the power of God a few days before that, forty days before. He had God's power. He had prayed, and three years and six months it had not rained. And then he prayed again on the mountain, and fire came down from heaven and devoured the sacrifice. And then he prayed again, and rain come and bathed the earth. And then, by the fear of the threat of the queen, he run into the wilderness; he knowed he was missing something. There was something in him that wasn't right yet.” [60-0326 The Unchangeable God, Tulsa OK]
“Oh, what a great thing it was, now, to know that he had wrestled through. That's, he had seen signs of God, he had had dreams about God, but this was one time he was in the face of God, in the Presence of God. Think of it, friends, now as we hurry up. In the Presence of God, a man is changed. Jacob was changed. Now he could walk with God. Yes, he was a different man than what he was when he went up there. The battle was now over. Yes, sir. And he begin to build an altar. He hadn't been used to building altars, you know. But, I tell you, when you come in the Presence of God, you want to build an altar somewhere. You want to find somewhere where you can pray. He built an altar. He was cleansed, and God had won.” [62-0909E In His Presence, Jeffersonville IN]
“And you must have something that you're tied to. Some people are tied to their business. Some are tied to their families. Some are tied to a creed. Some are tied to the army post. We have different things that we are tied to. But I think, as a Christian, we ought to be tied where we know is right, see. Because, you might be tied to your family, and your--your wife could leave you. You might be tied to the army, and you might get killed. And you might be tied to any different things, and it's got an end. But there has got to be a final tie post. There has got to be somewhere that--that man has got to tie for his Eternal destination. Because, if you're going to trust it in your work, when your work is finished, it's done. When your family is taken, it's over.” [63-1201M An Absolute, Shreveport LA]
“"Oh, well, I join church that settles it." But you have to be desperate about it. You have to really need God. Jesus said, "Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." But as long as you're satisfied with the things of the world, how can God ever speak to you? You say, "God never spoke to me." Why? He wants to. But you're too filled up with the things of the world. That's what's the matter with us today. We put all of our time on things of the world and the pleasures of the world, and give no time to God. It's true.” [58-1005M Hear His Voice, Jeffersonville IN]
“And every man or woman that has an experience with God, has met this same Pillar of Fire upon the sacred grounds of your heart. "There is no theologian, no devil, no nothing," Paul said, "nothing present, nothing future, death, sickness, sorrow, can separate us from that love of God, that's in Christ Jesus." It's a tie post. You know something happened. No matter how much science raise up and says this, that, or the other, you are tied. You and God become one. He is in you, and you are in Him. "At that day you'll know that I am in the Father, the Father in Me; I in you, and you in Me." You are tied to Him.” [63-1201M An Absolute, Shreveport LA]
“But He's never left us. He's here in the Spirit called the Holy Spirit. Now, when He led the children of Israel, He was in a form of a Light (All of you know that.), a Pillar of Fire. When He come on earth He was a man, come down into flesh to take away sin. He said, "I come from God, and I go to God." He went to God. After His resurrection, there was a man who saw Him. After His resurrection, after He'd ascended on high, and His body had been taken back to God, and was setting on the throne, there was a man saw Him. And I believe that's Acts about the 8th chapter, 9th, somewhere along there. And that man's name was Paul. And he was on his road down to Damascus, and a Light (That right?) struck him down, right in the middle of the day, and he said, "Who art thou that I persecute?" He said, "It's Jesus." He was in Spirit form. And that's the form He will be until He returns in His corporal body. He will be in Spirit form, a Light. God is Light. He was in the beginning. He's still the Light. He was made flesh, went back to Light, and will be Light till He comes in the flesh. And when He comes again the second time in the flesh, then our bodies will be transformed, and made like unto His, and we'll be with Him forever. What a beautiful, rejoicing thing that is.” [57-0226 Sirs We Would See Jesus, Phoenix AZ]
“Now, we wonder if we could see God. Is there a way that we could see Him? Now, it was the only way God had, trying Job out. He said, "I have heard of Thee, with the hearing of the ear, but now I see Thee. But now I see Thee, with my eyes." The vision of the invisible had been made plain. He seen the cloud rolling around, he heard the flashing of the lightning, or saw it. And seen the roaring of the thunder, maybe on a clear day, and he seen God was in that cloud and in that lightning. He could see God, with his natural eye. See, because the invisible was made visible. The visible vision of others was then vindicated, clear, to the natural eye. “ [65-1127E I Have Heard But Now I See, Shreveport LA]
“Cleanse our heart, Lord, from all filth of the world. Lord, I stand ready for cleansing. I stand ready, with this church and with all the listening in, and whoever will listen to this tape. I stand, Lord, and ask for cleansing. Lord, take me to the Potter's house and break me up, mold me a servant that You'd want. For, Lord Jesus, "I'm a man of unclean lips," as Isaiah cried, "dwelling with people of unclean lips; and woe is me, for I see the revelation of God being made manifest," as Isaiah saw the Angels in the Temple. I see the end time, Lord, and woe is me and my family; woe is me and my people. O Eternal God, have mercy upon us. I plead for myself and the people. Let us not perish with those who believe not, but may we live with the believers.” [65-0725M The Anointed Ones At The End Time, Jeffersonville IN]
