“The enemy has stopped you. He's brought you to a halt. Maybe you come to a halt before the enemy overtook you. Maybe there's something in your life that's caused you to halt. Whatever it is, you're still have the privilege of a conference. Let's talk it over with Him. Let's do something about it. No matter what the enemy is, he's never too great for our God. We need a conference. So Moses went up behind a certain place, we'll say, and held a conference with God. He didn't know what to do. Maybe you don't know what to do. Maybe you're sinners and have done so much sin. Maybe you smoked till you can't smoke no more, and can't quit it. Maybe you've drink till you can't drink no more, and you can't quit it. “There may that same type of crucial moment, maybe just not that way. But maybe a cancer has took ahold of you, maybe some other disease. Maybe sin has took ahold of you, and it's going to crush you right down into a devil's hell, a separation from God. Hold a conference, quickly. And when this conference was held, God stood on the rock by the side of Moses, and He said, "Go back down in the camp, Moses. Go right back where you started from. I'm God. Go down there and speak to the people to go forward. I'll make the way when it comes time to make the way. I'm the way-making God." “Maybe you've broke up your home. Maybe you've left your husband or left your wife. Maybe you run off from your children. There might be many things in this life that the enemy has trapped you into. But remember, my brother, sister, you still have the rights to have a conference with God. Yes, sir. Talk it over with Him. He's a very present help in a time of trouble. What must I do, Lord. And if we do turn such an invitation down, then we could not expect to be blessed at His coming, at the judgment. “But a man that's come to God, and stood in the Presence of God, and accept God's grace and His salvation, been borned again, and filled with the Holy Ghost, he is a son of God. Hallelujah! Certainly. He knows His Word; he stays with it. He believes God. He eats children's food; he eats sheep food. Too many feeding weeds today instead of sheep food--starving them to death. What we need today is the Holy Spirit back to feed the children, down by the shady green pastures and the still waters. Certainly. “God said, "Let us reason this together." If you're sick, let's reason it out with God. If the doctor said that you can't get well, then let's take the case to God and set down, and reason it out with Him: "Lord, I've done wrong, but if You'll just let me get well, I'll serve You all my life." Just talk it over with Him. In other words God says, "Come let us have a conference together, meet in a conference and let's talk that out." [Conference With God, Tifton GA, 60-0108]
